I am a fourth year PhD student in Linguistics at Boston University (BU).
Research Interests:
My research mostly centers around comparative syntax, which pairs well with my interest in fieldwork. I am also interested in syntax-semantics interface and the theoretical rudiments of minimalist syntax, and hold the view that syntax and semantics are essentially two sides of the same coin. I also dabble in sociolinguistics/sociology of language with an interest in language ideologies and revitalization (Shanghainese, to be specific.)
